Critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Louis Baker returns with a nationwide headline tour celebrating his second studio album, Trouble, out 9 October.

NZ’s sell-out Tool tribute Spiral Out returns to Totara Street, Mount Maunganui on Saturday 24 October to celebrate 30 years of Ænima (Aenima), performing the album in full plus Tool fan favourites, with Tonedown’s Deftones and System of a Down tribute sets.

After selling out shows across New Zealand in 2024 and 2025, Spiral Out brings its tribute to prog metal titans Tool back to the Mount. They’ll perform Ænima in its entirety, front to back, followed by a set of killer fan favourites from across the Tool catalogue.

One of Aotearoa’s most-loved dance acts, Flamingo Pier, brings the Woven Together album tour and their full live band to Totara Street, Mount Maunganui on Sunday 25 October – the perfect Labour Weekend dance party in Tauranga.

After more than a decade of building dancefloors around the world, Flamingo Pier return home this spring to celebrate their new album, Woven Together, with a six-date New Zealand tour.

MUDHONEY PLAYS TAURANGA | MOUNT MAUNGANUI

For the first time in over a decade, Mudhoney return to New Zealand for a run of intimate shows. Renowned for their ferocious live performances, the band continue to deliver the same high-voltage mix of sludgy riffs, pounding rhythms and Mark Arm's unmistakable snarl that made them one of the most influential rock bands of their era.

This concert is a musical showcase which features students from the Toi Ohomai NZ Certificate in Music and NZ Diploma in Music.

Stand-up comedy is back in Mount Maunganui: Wilson Dixon, Paul Douglas and MC Ben Hurley headline Mount Comedy Club at Totara Street on Thursday 5 November – three of New Zealand’s best comedians and a huge night of laughs in Tauranga to finish the year.

CHAII announces a four-date New Zealand tour this November, bringing her new musical world to life on home soil for the first time since unveiling her sophomore album era. The VIP Tour kicks off in Wellington on 19 November, then heads to Auckland, Raglan, and Mt Maunganui.

The tour follows the announcement of CHAII's sophomore album, VIP (Very Important Persian), a 14-track record set in Planet Persia, her self-built alternate universe, a surreal, dreamlike reimagining of Persian culture. CHAII is now based in Sydney, where she lives and works with her husband and co-producer Frank Keys.

Rising Vibes provides the ultimate platform for College Bands and Artists to create, perform and enhance their own original music.

Four times a year, at the end of each term, the Wright Family Foundation and the Mauao Performing Arts Centre present Rising Vibes. Taking place at TOTARA ST, the home of live music and entertainment in the Bay, everyone is welcome to attend, doors open at 4pm and entry is free of charge. Rising Vibes is a community based project with the aim to support and nurture upcoming talent from around the Bay of Plenty region.

On Friday 4 December, Totara Street will come alive for a very special celebration of the music of Glen Hansard. For more than three decades, Glen has been at the heart of some incredible music.

From the raw, passionate sound of The Frames , the Dublin band he formed and fronted for more than 30 years, through to The Swell Season, his collaboration with Markéta Irglová that introduced his music to an even wider audience through Once, and on to a hugely respected solo career.
